Observation drawing in the Sketchbook - fingers and a found feather

Did some practice drawing from observation...Can never get enough practice drawing hands and fingers. Plus, I found a turkey feather and really liked the softness of it. 

The sketchbook is a great place to work out new ideas for new paintings and drawings, and sometimes just to doodle around. I always get some benefit by working in my sketchbook on a daily basis.
