  1. It seems we all struggle and question ourselves, no matter what we do. I question my teaching, and my...self. I still believe we all have a purpose and we have special gifts...maybe we just aren't sure what they are, or if we are doing all of what we're supposed to be doing... But if drawing and art feels calming and right to yourSELF, would it not feel awful to stop or to even cut down? Good that you can journal it. It helps. I love to focus and journal my thoughts. Sorry I rambled. I guess I just want to say that I enjoy your work. I admire your dedication. I love your art. Best to you, in peace, ~ kath

  2. I selfishly want to say "NOOOO!" because I literally come to your blog every day to see if you have posted something. I love seeing your work. You are so inspirational!

Although the artist in me realizes the same thing. I could have written most of this post! I'm always like "what's the point?!"

  3. I got tears in my heart reading this message and I hope you will find back your "fever" to go on , you are so talented and the variety of your posts is amazing and inspiring for us readers maybe we should give you more frequently a little hug to be aware of our daily visits! But I understand your questioning at times we all asks ourselves why? but: Que sera sera, whatever will be will be,the future is not ours,to see , que sera sera (Doris Day) .Keep on smiling (and blogging plssssse).www.thequietpainter.blogspot.be

  4. Please don't quit. You may lack motivation but your art is motivational to so many others. We all feel that way sometimes, but maybe it helps to know that you give inspiration. Sometimes that makes it all worth the trying.

  5. thanks for your feedback and thoughts. At my day job, I am a website developer, so when I put that aside to draw, it often feels like split personality, the analytic side just doesn't mesh with the natural flow of artistic fluctuation... I think that strange combination, paired with not enough time in the day has me feeling low on energy lately.

Maybe it's like having a small fight with your best friend... hopefully we can make up and be friends again :)
