yeah, it is essentially a hard pastel. It's called conte, and the binder is a little different from pastel, but very similar.Thanks for your comments Ben :) It's always fun to hear what you have to say

messing around with conte. This landscape work is not typically my favorite kind of drawing...might be good to get more practice in.
