I scanned in the drawing from my sketchbook (with cream moleskine paper), then lay the design over the girl. After outlining the girl's silhouette, I cut out the design, so it looks like it sits behind her. Then, (since I saved the silhouette selection), I loaded her outline up again and filled it with white in a new layer, which I turned down in opacity. That way it looks like she pops in front of everything.
This is great. Love the color of the girl, and the pattern behind her. I always love your patterns.

ReplyDeleteDid you photoshop the girl over the pattern?

ReplyDeleteOk, pretty much what I thought. Though, I wondered if you drew her with a blue pencil on white paper, cut that out and overlayed her.
