working on a drawing bust of caesar, and made my own cast of a hand to do drawings from. That was a fun project with so much detail in the final piece, it's amazing. The texture of the skin shows up super accurate.
oh, sorry if the wording came out sounding confusing. I made the cast, and will draw it soon. This is a photo of the cast, and I was really amazed at how closely it resembled the wrinkles and lines in skin.
It's a good exercise, try it out if you are interested. The cast material is as easy as purchasing at Michael's, or most art stores. Here is a link to others that have drawn casts too:
