done with the sketchbook!
Finished the sketchbook today, so this is it for the handbook. About midway through I stuck something on the cover to brighten the black up some:
And the last entries are figure sketches. I spent a little more time on some, about 4 minutes each this time around, so that I could add some shading. It does wonders to add a minute!
With a last page, tribute to Shiele! Love those crazy hand gestures pointing to the eyes, while stretching skin. Very odd and fun to draw.
and don't ask...I don't really know about this or where it came from.heheh. Daydreaming I guess

I always love your artwork, but that last one is so surreal. It's like something out of the world of H.R. Giger. It should be on a rock band's album cover, or a book cover.

ReplyDeleteI have to sticker all of my moleskins. One has a sticker from an old band I used to be in, and the other has an apple sticker, because I love my mac.

ReplyDeleteFor some reason, I can't stand a sketchbook cover left plain. It's like it's just not really personal unless it's covered with stuff
Yeah, I'm the same way. I'll search for good stickers... and try to have some good ones on hand for new sketchbooks.
