messing around with heads and faces and fuzziness. Trying to make sure I can get a likeness while still being a bit messy about it.

    the middle one I like best, the cropping of one portrait by the outline of the other - I love details like that.

  5. Yours WOULD be fun, I like the way you've made the camera an extension of your eye, but I think Steve has already beat me to it.

    hey you know, Ian...maybe you should go paint outside and have a classroom comparison about the difference in experience from painting from images. It might make people adventurous!

  6. I concur with r_sail - the last image is REALLY cool! I like how the light, smooth face of the woman contrasts with the dark, scruffy birdy.

  7. I especially love the juxtaposition of the woman and the bird in the last piece and the line of the mouth is spot on and renders the mood perfectly with such ecconomy! Well done.
