I like the boldness of it. Of course, it reminds me that I haven't posted anything for IF in a while. Thinking of this picture reminded me of "Wrestlers Cruel Study" by Stephen Dobbyns. Great book, that I need to finish reading.

I don't really know the answer to how you come up with an image like this, other than to let yourself daydream. I also am trying to open myself up to imagination and letting myself be playful. I usually start with a mood I want to convey, and the image draws itself from there. I know that's not too helpful, just keep asking yourself, "what if...this or that", and "what would it look like if...". I'm sure the more you do it, the easier it becomes (I'm hoping!)
