Your thumb may not be green, but your artwork is very well done. I recently commissioned a piece for my first self-published book. The artist in Ronald Chironna. Although we didn't know it at the time, we both attended Pratt Institute at the same time. His drawing for my book was outstanding. If you have a moment, take a look at it. It's on my website, www.nicholasborelli.com. His link is there as well.
I can't quite create a large enough view to read the note but I like this drawing very much!
I have a plant too; it's spiky with gold (really shiny metallic gold too - not yellow) tiny flowers. Sadly I'm no gardener either and its leaves have started to spiral with dehydration, uh oh.
