bees

sketches for my bee project. I've been trying to figure out ways that my bees can turn 3D, which is new for me. It's kind of a mind bender to go from painting to sculpture, and I don't know if I'm so good at this. Maybe I can integrate some way so I feel better about the transition. Maybe I can have a flat surface that is only cut out in the shape of the outline, then paint on top of that flat surface to make it look 3D...I'll have to play more with it.
